Elected
Overview
Elected is a Scripture engagement app for web and mobile, built around reading, speaking, and hearing the Word of God. Users read the Bible in their preferred translation, curate personal studies by adding notes, prayers, and reflections to passages, and can record themselves reading Scripture to create spoken versions of their studies. The app is containerized via Coolify for fast, repeatable releases.
The app combines three quite different experiences — reading, note-based study, and audio recording — and they had to feel like one coherent product across both web and mobile. Handling audio recording and playback reliably across platforms was the trickiest technical piece, while the Coolify-based container setup kept deployments fast and repeatable.
